Earning a spot on the A-list with a 98 is Hickory Farms located at 5488 South Padre Island Drive.
Whataburger located at 2424 Baldwin scored a 97.
Wildcat Donuts located at 1301 15th Street scored a 93.
Island Italian Restaurant located at 15370 South Padre Island Drive scored a 91.
Papi Chulo’s Mexican Restaurant located at 4861 Saratoga scored a 91.
Seafood & Spaghetti Works located at 910 State Highway 361 scored a 90.
Earning a spot on the B-list with an 86 is La Playa Mexican Restaurant located at 5017 Saratoga.
Violations included raw chicken kept at the wrong temperature, a dirty ice maker, food in a pan stored on top of ready to eat food, the cook did not wash hands between tasks and no hot water at the hand washing station.
