Hester’s Café & Coffee Bar located at 1902 Shoreline inside the Art Museum scored a 100.
Blimpies located at 300 Shoreline scored a 100.
Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is Starbucks Coffee located at 4022 Saratoga.
Republic of Texas Bar & Grill located at 900 shoreline scored a 98.
Vernon’s Mexican Café located at 1030 3rd Street scored a 97.
Bingo Taco #2 located at 4954 Crosstown Expressway scored a 97.
My Favorite Muffin & Bagel Café #2 located at 6418 Staples scored a 94.
Sonic Drive- Inn located at 14401 South Padre Island Drive scored a 93.
Frank’s Spaghetti House 2724 Leopard scored a 90.
Dropping down to the B-list with an 89 is Hermanos Solis Restaurant #2 located at 470 Old Robstown Road.
Violations included raw meat stored above diced tomatoes, food stored in the refrigerator was not labeled, no thermometer, employees were not wearing beard guards,
wiping cloths were not stored properly, a bulk container was not labeled, the back door sweep and broken floor tiles needed to be repaired.
