Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is Zambra Fusion Café located at 6062 Holly.
Subway located at 5127 Weber scored a 98.
Pizza Hut located at 4001 Saratoga scored a 98.
Marble Slab Creamery located at 5521 Saratoga scored a 97.
Crawdaddy’s Downtown located at 317 Mesquite scored a 96.
Hawaii Poke located at 5521 Saratoga scored a 94.
Astor Restaurant located at 5533 Leopard scored a 94.
Scuttlebutt’s Seafood Bar & Grill located at 14254 South Padre Island Drive scored a 93.

Violations included raw meat stored above vegetables, employees were not washing their hands between tasks, there was no food manager, the hand washing sink was used for other tasks and there were no paper towels at the hand washing sink.
Other violations included flies, employees not wearing beard guards, employee cups needed lids, wiping towels were not stored properly, scoops were not stored properly, knives were stored between equipment and the restroom must be self closing.
