Two perfect scores and three B-list restaurants in Tuesday’s Edition of the Kitchen Cops.

Sno-ball located at 3830 Baldwin scored a 100.

Dulcerias Pinkis located at 2308 Horne scored a 100.

Earning a spot on the A-list with a 99 is Subway located at 4256 Alameda.

Baskin Robbins located at 4701 South Padre Island Drive scored a 99.

Pizza Hut located at 4414 Ayers scored a 98.

Sonny’s Restaurant located at 4066 Port scored a 98.

Tropical Sno Of Port Aransas located at 501 Alister scored a 98.

La Escondida Restaurant located at 4217 Agnes scored a 97.

McDonald’s located at 3745 Staples scored a 96.

Taqueria El Alteno #1 located at 2601 Ayers scored a 94.

Joe’s Crab Shack located at 444 Shoreline scored a 94.

Irie’s Island Food located at 5063 Alister scored a 94.

Dairy Queen of Port Aransas located at 307 West Cotter scored a 93.

Taqueria Jalisco #12 located at 3830 Staples scored a 90.

Dropping down to the B-list with an 87 is JP Bombers #2 located at 5201 Everhart.

Health inspectors found black residue on ceiling vents, dirty grill shelves in the cooler, stagnant mop water on the floors, a bad sewage odor, no food manager on duty and expired food permits.

Macdaddy’s Family Kitchen located at 118 Beach Street scored an 87.

Violations included food boxes on the floor, a dirty ice machine, no hot water at bar area sinks, no thermometer, flies, employees not wearing hair or beard restraints, employee cups needed lids and scoops with handles are needed to dispense dry goods.

Seafood & Spaghetti Works located at 910 State Highway 361 scored an 82.

The restaurant lost points because food was stored on the floor, dirty soda fountain nozzles, employees needed to wash their hands,  chemical spray bottle were not labeled, spray bottles were not stored properly, there was no soap or towels at the hand washing sink.

Other violations included employees not wearing hair or beard restraints, employees cups needed lids, wiping towels were not stored properly, soup needed to be covered and scoop handles were not stored properly.
