Taft ISD is switching Woodroe Petty Elementary school to remote learning after a staff member tests positive for COVID-19.
The school district said the staff member was last on campus on Wednesday Jan. 21. The school will be closed and students will learn remotely from January 25-29. During this time, the school will be thoroughly disinfected. On-Campus Instruction will resume on Monday, Feb. 1.
Curbside meals will be provided between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM from Taft High School during the closure.
