As the omicron variant continues to cause headaches for travelers, airlines are continuing a rash of cancellations.

More than 700 flights across the nation were scrapped on Monday.

That number doesn't include flights that were delayed.

And about 5,000 flights were canceled Friday through Sunday.

According to aviation company Flight Aware, Southwest Airlines had the highest number of cancellations over the past few days.
