WASHINGTON, D.C. — Millions of American families are starting the week without a monthly deposit from the child tax credit program.
That's because it has expired already.
A bill that would help extend the credit is stalled in the senate.
The credits were part of the Biden Administration's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief package.
