ROBSTOWN, Texas — Another mega drive-through event is being held today at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown.
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District says it received 5,000 Moderna vaccines on Thursday.
The district will begin giving those vaccines out this morning beginning at 8 a.m. to people in Phase 1-a and 1-b and its first-come, first-serve.
Also, people who received their first dose of the vaccine in late December will be getting a second dose today.
That clinic will happen from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Officials say people scheduled to get their second dose already have been contacted.
The city has also put out this map showing the entrances they are asking people to use today.
First-dose patients will enter through Texas Yes Boulevard. And second-dose patients will enter through Terry Shamsie Boulevard.
A total of 500 doses will be given to the Corpus Christi Fire Department so it can continue vaccinating the elderly through the “Saving Our Seniors” program.
