Robert Reynosa lives in San Antonio, but loves to fish at Lake Corpus Christi.
Originally from Beeville, Reynosa returns to the lake to fish as regularly as he can. On Saturday morning, Reynosa reeled in a 19 pound 7 ounce yellow catfish.
Although a very large yellow catfish, Pat Rorick, a volunteer at Lake Corpus Christi, claims the record yellow catfish reeled in at the lake is 33 lbs.
Reynosa, was thinking about a catch and release, but gave it to a fellow fisherman who asked if he could have it for food.
