Stephen A. Smith viciously trolls Dallas fans by reminding them of Tony Romo’s fumbled snap

ESPN’s “First Take” ventured outside the studios on Friday to take the show to Arlington before Dallas’ game against Seattle Saturday night.

It will be the Cowboys’ first playoff game against the Seahawks since Jan. 6, 2007. All Cowboys fans remember that game because of a botched center exchange to holder Tony Romo late in that game. Romo fumbled the snap and Martin Gramatica never had a chance to kick a 19-yard field goal that could have been the difference in a 21-20 loss to the Seahawks.

ESPN First Take host Stephen A. Smith hasn’t forgotten that moment. To open Friday’s program, Smith stood atop his desk and held up a giant photo of Romo’s mistake.

Angry Cowboys fans attending the show predictably showered Smith with boos.

It should also be mentioned that Smith has said the Cowboys have “the most pathetic fan base in American history.”

What about it Cowboy Nation? What do you think about Stephen A.’s comments?

And will Romo’s past bobble make a potential Dallas victory on Saturday night that much sweeter?
