CORPUS CHRISTI – Upcoming short-term closures will affect two IH 37 exit ramps within the Harbor Bridge work zone. All work is weather permitting. A detailed listing of closures is included below.
Beginning Thursday, November 8, 2018 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following exit will be closed:
- Northbound IH 37 exit ramp to Nueces Bay Boulevard.
Beginning Friday, November 9, 2018 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following exit will be closed:
- Southbound IH 37 exit ramp to Port Avenue.
The closures are necessary to complete drainage work on IH 37. The Brownlee exit ramp that is currently closed, will open temporarily during the stated closures so motorists may exit northbound IH 37 in this area. Motorists heading southbound on IH 37 and needing to exit in this area, will need to utilize the Buddy Lawrence exit ramp.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the lane closures, to consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones.
