The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will host a public meeting for a discussion of the Oso Recreation Center proposed lease with the Miracle League of Corpus Christi to utilize the facility for providing programs or sports opportunities for children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities.
The public meeting will be held Thursday, October 25, at 6:30 p.m., at Oso Recreation Center located at 1111 Bernice Drive.
Jiselle Perez, the Sports Miracle League Program Director said, “it is an amazing program we are now having additional programs from when I as started we started doing swim lesson we started doing a summer camps we do 2 seasons of baseball we kickball basketball so there is a lot of different and exciting things that we provide to children and adults with disabilities.”
