Build-A-Bear got more than it could handle with their Pay Your Age Day event and is now closing lines at all stores due to safety concerns.
Photos on social media show lines so long at the local store that security officers were moving people outside of the building.

Please be aware: Based on the unprecedented response to our Pay Your Age Day event in our early opening stores, we are experiencing significantly longer than expected lines and large crowds. Local authorities are requiring us to limit the lines and crowds due to safety concerns. The event allows customers to pay their age for a furry friend, as little as $1. This was the first time the store offered this event.
