A 48-year-old woman’s body was discovered last night at a local apartment complex. The body was under a tree and wrapped in a blanket, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department. One person has been arrested for murder.
Just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, someone found the body near bushes at The Shores Apartments on Ennis Joslin Road near McArdle road.
As officers investigated the scene, they contacted 53-year-old John Smith and took him to the police station for questioning. He was later arrested for murder, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
