Police look for wood wielding robbery suspect

An alleged robbery suspect attacks a local hotel clerk with a large piece of wood and Corpus Christi Police are asking for help finding her.  

CCPD put out an alert with a video of a female suspect entering a hotel located on the 700 block of North Port.  The suspect is seen walking into the hotel with the large piece of wood and demanded money from the hotel employee.  

The woman then looks to become aggressive as the employee is seen holding up a chair in response.  The woman bangs the wood on the counter and police say she attempted to strike the employee.

She then waved a kitchen knife around and cut an employee allowing her to pull out the cash drawer which had $300.  The suspect left through the front entrance.

The suspect is described as a black female, standing approximately 5’07, weighing approximately 150 pounds, wearing a light blue hoodie and black pants.
