CORPUS CHRISTI – Police in Corpus Christi are investigating after a deceased person was found this afternoon in the outskirts of the City towards Petronila.
In a post to its website, Corpus Christi Police Department said investigators were at the "scene of a deceased person" along near County Road 63 and County Road 20.
A cause of death had not yet been determined, but police said it is common practice for detectives to investigate all unattended deaths.
Other details, including the person’s identity and the location of the incident, were not given, but officials said Nueces County Medical Examiners Office would follow up at a later date.
