One person was taken to the hospital after a driver ran through a stop sign and collided with an SUV. That SUV landed on its side at a local intersection.
Just after 11 a.m., officers responded to the rollover accident at the intersection of Laredo and Brownlee.
Officers on scene say a Dodge was driving northbound on Brownlee when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. The SUV, which was traveling westbound on Laredo, hit the car. The SUV landed on its side in the intersection.
The driver of SUV was taken to the hospital with complaints of back pain, officers said. The driver of the car was ticketed for causing the accident.
