An isolated shower or two possible Saturday

Posted

No big changes in the Coastal Bend forecast, but a few folks may see an isolated shower this weekend.

Saturday: An isolated shower or two

Most of South Texas will be in for another hot and dry Saturday, but a few lucky folks will get a splash of rain. The showers will be very isolated and brief, but we’ll take anything we can get in this hot and dry pattern.

Once again, we’ll climb to the low to mid-90s for highs in the coastal counties, with upper 90s further inland. It’s going to be a great beach day if you’re wanting some time in the sand and sun.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and warm

The small chance for rain on Saturday looks to be gone by Sunday. We’ll be left with the warm and dry conditions, but he breeze will become a bit stronger. We’ll have a high in the low to mid-90s as we wrap up Shrimporee.

Starting the week: Breezy to windy

The strong breeze will continue as we start the work week, with highs remaining in the low to mid-90s. Unfortunately, there are no big movers and shakers in the weather pattern for the next several days, meaning our forecast doesn’t change too much even as we start the week.
