Detectives need your help finding a man who was caught on camera stealing from a department store.
It’s the Crime of the Week.
If caught the man could face aggravated robbery charges.
Surveillance video taken from a store located in the 5400 block of South Padre Island Drive, shows the man hiding shoes and a shirt in his waistband.
The shirt was valued at $95.00.
The man made no attempt to pay for the merchandise.
When a loss prevention employee approached the male outside of the store in an effort to ask for the merchandise back, the man displayed a gun and grabbed the handle in a threatening manner, at which point the loss prevention employee ran back inside.
The male is described as an adult male about 40 years of age, brown hair and light brown eyes with a thin build.
