Rockport Wine and Food Festival this weekend

Posted

ROCKPORT – Looking for something to do this weekend?  Rockport is hosting another fun event to benefit its Texas Maritime Museum.

The 22nd Annual Rockport Wine and Food Festival kicks off this Thursday with a Patron Party.  If you can’t make it Thursday, the event picks up again on Saturday, May 26th from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, May 27th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Texas Maritime Museum re-opened in March after damage from Hurricane Harvey caused it to close in late August. This is their first fundraiser since last year’s festival, and the city and staff are really hoping for a strong tourist turnout. The museum does not receive any government funding and relies on these types of fundraisers and donations.
