The man accused hitting and killing a 20-year-old Port Aransas man has been found guilty.
Jason Auvenshine was found guilty today on one count of Accident Involving Death and one count of Intoxication Manslaughter with a Vehicle, both second degree felonies.
In March of 2017, Auvenshine fatally ran over Brandon Phelps in Port Aransas.
Police said Auvenshine initially left the scene of the accident, but returned later.
Auvenshine faces between 25 years and life in prison.
