CORPUS CHRISTI -Corpus Christi Walmart customers will have a chance to get a free health checkup this weekend as part of the chain’s Wellness Day event.
Walmart Wellness Day events take place throughout the year, with this Saturday, April 21 being the company’s second so far this year. The program has so far provided more than two million free screenings across the country since its first event.
All Corpus Christi Walmart locations will offer the screenings, including tests for blood glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, low-cost immunizations and at select locations, free vision screenings.
The event runs from 10:a.m. to 2 p.m. at all Corpus Christi Walmart locations on Saturday, April 21.
According to the company, hundreds of thousands of Americans turn out for each Wellness Day event, which makes it the nation’s largest single-day health fair event.
