Corpus Christi’s Jeremy Jordan at to perform at Pops in the Park

When it comes to family entertainment, nothing beats the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra’s annual Pops in the Park, an event in which KRIS Communications is proud to take part.

The outdoor community concert takes place at Whataburger Field Saturday, April 21st and this year’s theme is "Reach for the Stars."

In addition to the return of Guest Conductor and local resident Lee Gwozdz, Pops in the Park will also welcome as its special guest, Corpus Christi native Jeremy Jordan. The Tony and Grammy nominated vocalist is a leading man of Broadway, television and film.

Jordan, a Mary Carroll High School alumni, took on the role of Jack Kelly in Disney’s breakout hit, "Newsies." He has since gone on to become a familiar face in television is shows like "Smash" and "Supergirl."

Gates open at 6:00 PM and the event gets underway at 7:00 PM. The concert itself begins at 7:30 PM.

Pre-sale General Admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, with children under 12 admitted free. Tickets may be purchased through the Whataburger Field Box Office, by calling (361) 561-HOOK or by visiting www.cchooks.com.
