A guy really wanted two pairs of diamond earrings, he just didn’t want to pay for them.

It’s the Crime of the Week.

Back on March 17th, a man stole jewelry from a store located in the 5400 block of South Padre Island Drive.

Detectives say, the man asked an employee to see two sets of diamond earrings and then took the sets of earrings and ran out to a vehicle that was waiting.

The vehicle was described as a dark in color, possibly black Nissan Altima.

The total value of the items is estimated to be $6,000.

The man appears to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’08", 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes with a beard.

If you can identify the man or have any additional information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.
