Posted

Christopher Gonzalez was in court Friday morning for arraignment.  He is facing multiple charges in the homicide case of Breanna Wood.

Gonzalez pleaded not guilty to all charges.

December 2017,  Gonzalez was indicted on three counts, including capital murder, murder and engaging in criminal activity in connection with the murder of Breanna Wood.

Wood was reported missing in October of 2015. Her body was found in January 2017 at an abandoned home near Bluntzer.

Joseph Tejeda, Wood’s ex-boyfriend is accused of shooting her.  Authorities say Gonzalez and Sandra Vasquez told Tejeda to kill Wood or they would have him killed.

Tejeda, Gonzalez and five others are in custody in connection with Wood’s murder.

Earlier this month, Gonzalez was booked and processed.  At that time, prosecutors announced they would not seek the death penalty against him.  Gonzalez’ bond is set at $1 million.
