CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Congratulations are in order for a senior officer with the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Senior Officer Karl Wright is retiring after 22 years of service.During his time with the police department he worked for patrol, served in the Narcotic & Vice Division and the Traffic Safety Section.
Officer Wright was selected as Officer of the Year in 2003, 2006, and again in 2013. Before joining the Corpus Christi Police Department, he was in the United States Army and served in Operation Desert Storm.
