Krispy Kreme Is Introducing Two Decadent New Holiday Doughnuts

It’s officially the season of fun Christmas movies, twinkling lights and, of course, delicious baked goods. That includes cookies, breads, pies and — if you have a Krispy Kreme near you — themed doughnuts!

Krispy Kreme’s new Nicest Holiday Collection hit menus nationwide Friday, Nov. 27 and marked the return of the fan-favorite “Santa Belly” doughnut in addition to debuting two new treats: a Christmas tree and a present. If you didn’t get a chance to try the Santa Belly doughnut last year, it is filled with chocolate Kreme, dipped in red icing and decorated with chocolate icing and a sugar piece belt.

The new festive tree doughnut is a red velvet cake batter-filled doughnut that is dipped in cream cheese icing and decorated with a tree and star, while the present doughnut is a sugar cookie Kreme-filled doughnut, dipped in green icing and decorated with a ribbon and sugar piece “nice” tag.

You can get all three doughnuts through Dec. 24 in a limited-edition “gift-wrapped” dozen box.

As a way to say “thank you” to those who will be bringing gifts to our doorsteps, Krispy Kreme will also be giving all mail and package delivery drivers a free original glazed doughnut on Monday, Nov. 30. Just head to your local shop and show your employee ID or wear your uniform and you’ll get a free doughnut.

Then on Dec. 12, everyone will get a treat when Krispy Kreme holds their annual “Day of the Dozens” and offers $1 original glazed doughnuts. If that’s not enough, you’ll also want to mark your calendar for Dec. 16, when they will be adding gingerbread glazed doughnuts to their menu!

If you don’t have a Krispy Kreme near you, Dunkin’ also has a few holiday doughnuts, including a frosted snowflake doughnut, which sounds like it would pair nicely with one of their new holiday drinks, like the gingerbread latte or peppermint mocha latte.
