Taste of Coastal Bend proves delicious

The 2018 Taste of the Coastal Bend was held at the Solomon Ortiz Center and featured about 30 local restaurants and venues. Tickets were $20 and part of the proceeds will benefit the Junior League of Corpus Christi. A VIP party took place in the hour before official doors opened at 6:30. Whether attendees were craving something savory, sweet, or in between the offerings did not disappoint. This is an iHEARTmedia event and local radio talent took turns hosting when there wasn’t live entertainment being offered. There was also a silent auction and various giveaways across the center. The Port of Corpus Christi offered a scenic background.
