CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — One female driver is facing serious charges after investigators said she led DPS Troopers on a high-speed chase.
The pursuit happened around 12:30 am Friday on Interstate 37 in Calallen.
Troopers said they tried to pull over a Chevy hatchback vehicle when it sped up and tried to evade their DPS Unit.
Investigators said the chase continued Southbound along I-37 and lasted more than eight minutes with speeds reaching up to one hundred miles per hour.
The suspect's vehicle exited I-37 and Navigation Boulevard and crashed into orange construction barriers.
Luckily, no injuries were reported and the female driver was taken into custody.
