Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand.

Lemonade Day has spread to over 57 cities in 23 states and 3 countries, and this year Coastal Bend kids will get to join in on the fun.

Each child that registers receives access to an online interactive program that teaches them the valuable lessons of Lemonade Day – including how to set a goal, make a plan, work the plan and achieve their dreams.

Once a youth pays their investor back, they keep all of the money they earn and are encouraged to spend some, save some, and share some of their profit.

One way to help attract more customers and in turn generate more revenue, is to encourage kids to put their stand on the Lemonade Day map.

By adding their stand to the map, more people will know where to find your kids’ business so they can buy their lemonade.

Teachers and group leaders can encourage parents to help their children participate in the local Lemonade Day and add their stand location to the map. They can also post their location on Facebook and Instagram, using #LD2019.

Anyone and everyone can be involved in Lemonade Day! Young entrepreneurs with lemonade stands need mentors, investors, business partners, great locations, and customers!

Be prepared to buy lots of lemonade from young entrepreneurs in the Coastal Bend on May 11.
