If you need something to take your mind off the new coronavirus, what’s better than a “Friends”-themed newborn photoshoot? It’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make you forget about global pandemics for a moment. And it’s all thanks to Colorado-based photographer Mandy Penn, who decided to create “some light and laughs” for her fellow “Friends” addicts and fans during this difficult time, as she noted in her blog.

“I’m a huge fan of ‘Friends’ and wanted to incorporate this into my business,” Penn told Simplemost. “What’s better than babies and ‘Friends’?”

The secret behind the much-loved TV show’s huge success is, of course, the amazing cast of characters. Luckily, Penn didn’t have any trouble assembling her own miniature “Friends.” Her friend had recently welcomed twin girls, and a call for models quickly brought the numbers up to six.

The babies aren’t called Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey, unfortunately, but Gemma, Georgia, Oliver, Ethan, Braxton and Addison look just as comfortable on Penn’s mini-sized replica of Central Perk’s couch, which was made by her friend, designer Danielle Shunk.

Penn recreated some of the most memorable “Friends” episodes, like “The One with the Wedding Dresses.”

And who can forget “The One with the Holiday Armadillo?”

Naturally, every character got their chance to take the center spot on the couch. Rachel’s props included her Central Perk apron, her infamous “English trifle” and her enormous beach hat.

Meanwhile, Ross the paleontologist had a dinosaur close by, and even Marcel the monkey made a special guest appearance.

Chandler’s image featured his foosball table and arcade game, plus a tiny representation of Duck, the feathered friend who shared his apartment for a few seasons.

Naturally, cooking and cleaning products were added to Monica’s solo shoot, and she was also joined by a crocheted, bespectacled turkey — courtesy of Penn’s “crochet wizard” friend Denise.

No photo of Phoebe is complete without her trusty guitar, and her yellow wrap was even accessorized with a ribbon reminiscent of the giant Christmas ribbon the character used to disguise the hummus stain on her dress in “The One Where No One’s Ready.”

Last but not least, Joey’s props included pizza (naturally), the Chick, his stuffed penguin Hugsy and a reminder of his catchphrase: “How you doing?”

Could they be any cuter?
