Local woman stabs man repeatedly, sends him to the hospital

A man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed during an argument on Friday.

Corpus Christi Police Department Public Information senior officer Travis Pace said the man was injured at around 11 a.m. after being involved in a disagreement with a 24-year-old woman. As the man went to lay down, the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed him several times.

He reportedly was stabbed several times at The Current at 37 apartments in the 10000 block of Up River Road.

The woman has been arrested for aggravated assault, but not yet been identified.
