Friday's Troubleshooters story involves the far-reaching impact of the novel coronavirus.
A local couple had to cancel their wedding plans because of it.
Now, they’ve called us for help getting a refund from the venue.
Phillip Jackson and Briana Lozano say they planned to tie the knot on March 29.
Jackson says they reserved the La Stanza Event Center in downtown Corpus Christi in December 2019, and that he's already paid La Stanza approximately $8,000.
But remember -- on March 18, the city and county signed an ordinance limiting public gatherings to 50 people.

“Nobody would want to risk their health especially due to the virus,” Jackson told the Troubleshooters.
So Jackson contacted La Stanza to talk about canceling their wedding and getting some kind of refund.
In a different Troubleshooters story, La Stanza said their contracts are good for one year.
In response to our request, La Stanza’s attorney Steve Mc Mains issued a statement pointing out that the contract was signed by Briana Lozano, and the original event date was set for Nov. 11, but that the couple changed the date three times.
There is also a specific clause which says if patron breaches or terminates the contract, there will not be a refund.
“What options did they give you?" the Troubleshooters asked.
"After I said I was contacting an attorney, they said I could sell my contract to somebody else,” said Jackson.
He said he and Lozano still plan on tying the knot: but when? When will it be safe enough to do that?
Mc Mains' statement, however, reads that "It is our understanding they just would like to not have the event anymore."
So that’s where it stands.
La Stanza said it still is willing to help the couple plan their wedding.
